1-Hour Discovery Session

This session is designed for students, adults, creatives, and professionals who feel overwhelmed by planning, organizing, starting, or completing tasks, even when they are capable, intelligent, and motivated.

The Executive Functioning Support Discovery Session is not therapy and not academic tutoring. It is a collaborative working session focused on understanding how your brain naturally works so that systems can be built around your strengths rather than forcing you into systems that do not fit.

During this session, we explore real-life challenges such as workload management, follow-through, scheduling, task initiation, time awareness, transitions between tasks, and decision fatigue. Together we identify patterns, energy rhythms, environmental needs, and practical barriers that may be creating friction.

This session may include:
• identifying current overwhelm points
• reviewing workload or life demands
• mapping executive functioning strengths and support needs
• exploring scheduling and planning approaches that feel sustainable
• discussing accommodations, supports, or advocacy strategies
• beginning a personalized structure for organization and follow-through

You will leave with initial clarity about next steps and practical strategies tailored to your lived experience.

This Discovery Session is ideal for:
• college or graduate students
• neurodivergent individuals
• professionals navigating transition or burnout
• individuals seeking structured support without pathologizing language
• parents or advocates supporting emerging adults

The goal is not perfection or productivity pressure. The goal is clarity, regulation, and workable systems that support real life.

Discovery Session Overview & Outcomes

This discovery session serves as the first step in a collaborative planning process. During this session, information is gathered to better understand the needs, goals, and lived experience of the individual or student. The session leads to a structured compilation of notes, identified priorities, and clearly visualized next steps.

Following the discovery session, preliminary suggestions and possible systems are developed based on the information shared. These recommendations are then reviewed together and refined through a multi-step planning process.

The intended outcome is the creation of agreed-upon, tailored systems designed around the individual’s specific needs, strengths, and real-life demands. This process may include:

• a compiled summary of discovery notes
(5 day Turnaround)
• preliminary questions around needs, goals, current challenges, workflows, routines, or support structures
• Clarity of client needs
• establishment of accessible price points, including student-rate options when applicable
• two hours of initial implementation/integration support once clients decide to move forward in receiving individualized support creation
• scheduling of follow-up sessions to evaluate success, adjust systems as needed, and provide continued support (hourly rate)

The goal is not a one-time solution, but the development of sustainable systems that evolve with the individual.

Terms & Agreement for EFTblk Sessions

1. Scope of Practice & Information Disclaimer

I understand that any information provided by Coach Windsong is for educational and general informational purposes only and is not medical, psychological, or legal advice. Coach Windsong is not a licensed therapist, psychologist, physician, or healthcare provider. EFTblk sessions are coaching and educational in nature and are not a substitute for medical, psychiatric, or psychological care. EFT and related energy-based practices are intended to complement, not replace, professional healthcare.

2. Nature of EFT & Related Techniques

In EFTblk sessions, techniques may be used that work with the energy system and nervous system of the body. These may include, but are not limited to: Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT/Tapping), gentle somatic awareness practices, and polyvagal-informed toning or regulation techniques. While research supporting EFT and related approaches continues to grow, individual responses vary, and no specific outcomes are guaranteed. Coach Windsong does not diagnose illness or disease and does not prescribe or alter medication. I agree not to discontinue or change any medication without first consulting my prescribing medical provider.

3. Experiential Awareness & Emotional Memory

I understand that EFT works with present-day experiences and emotional memory and may involve gentle reference to past events. I acknowledge that emotional or physical sensations may arise during or after a session, previously unresolved memories or feelings may surface, and emotional activation can occur and does not indicate harm. The intention of this work is regulation and safety, not retraumatization or forced emotional processing.

4. Memory Reconsolidation Clarification

This work is informed by the neurobiological process of memory reconsolidation, in which memories, when gently and intentionally activated, may update with new information, safety, or regulation. Memory reconsolidation does not erase memories or change historical facts and may reduce emotional charge or survival responses linked to past experiences. I understand that, in some cases, the emotional intensity of memories may significantly diminish, which could affect the ability to provide vivid legal testimony regarding past traumatic events.

5. No Guarantees

Any testimonials, stories, or shared experiences related to EFTblk or EFT are not guarantees, warranties, or predictions of outcome for any individual.

6. Confidentiality

All information shared during sessions is confidential and will not be disclosed without my written consent except in the following circumstances: imminent risk of harm to myself or another person; suspected abuse or neglect of a child, elder, or vulnerable person; or a valid court order requiring records. I grant permission for Coach Windsong to consult with mentors or supervisors for training or supervision purposes only, provided that my identity remains anonymous.

7. Recording Consent

Sessions are not routinely recorded. If sessions are held via Zoom or similar platforms, I may request permission to record the session on my own device. Coach Windsong is not responsible for client recordings and does not retain copies.

8. Session Timing & Client Responsibility

Sessions are approximately 55 minutes from the scheduled start time. Late arrival does not extend session length. I agree to reserve time after sessions for integration. For remote sessions, I agree to be in a private, safe space and will not drive or operate machinery during sessions.

9. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Less than 24 hours’ notice: no refunds and no rescheduling. More than 24 hours’ notice: reschedule via appointment confirmation emails; credit transferable to another person or applicable to eligible EFTblk offerings; 50% refund issued within 10 business days. 10. Agreement of Terms

I confirm that I have read and understood this agreement in full, have had the opportunity to seek additional professional guidance if desired, and voluntarily choose to participate in EFTblk sessions. My signature and proceeding with booking constitutes my informed consent to these terms.
