A Miami native and first-generation college graduate, Joshua holds a Bachelor’s in Religion from Wiley University, a Master’s in Theological Studies from Southern Methodist University, and a Master’s in Heritage Studies from Arkansas State University. His expertise spans leadership, program development, and community engagement.

Beyond BBI, Joshua is the CEO and Founder of Joshua T. Smith Consulting (Paz), providing strategic solutions for organizations and individuals. A proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., he is also a dedicated chess player and, most importantly, a proud father to Sophia Smith. He remains committed to mentoring future leaders and advocating for equity in education and business.
