Sankofa Akoma: Inner Child Arts and EFT Integration Experience

In-Person Immersive Journey • 3 to 3.5 Hours • $385 (All Basic Supplies Included) • 21 & Up
Sankofa Akoma is a deeply immersive, culturally rooted healing and arts experience designed to help you reconnect with, tend to, and honor your younger emotional self.

Grounded in the Akan teachings of Sankofa (“go back and fetch it”) and the Adinkra symbol Akoma (“the heart”), this session invites you to return to the places within that still carry memory, tenderness, wisdom, and unmet needs — not to re-live the past, but to retrieve what is yours as you move forward with authenticity and wholeness.

This in-person experience blends EFT tapping, somatic grounding, reflective writing, creative intuition, and inner child arts integration to create a powerful fusion of emotional processing and hands-on creativity.
No art experience is required. Gentle, step-by-step guidance, prompts, examples, and emotional support are provided throughout.

What to Expect in This 3–3.5 Hour Session

1. Grounding & Emotional Opening

Your journey begins with:

  • guided breathwork

  • somatic cues for nervous system regulation

  • emotional check-in and intention setting

2. EFT Tapping + Somatic & Expressive Integration (1–1.5 hours)

This portion may include:

  • EFT tapping rounds tailored to your inner child exploration

  • gentle somatic awareness + grounding exercises

  • word association prompts

  • guided visualization and memory connection

  • short writing sessions for emotional expression

  • reflective, verbal processing

This process softens emotional intensity, helps regulate the nervous system, and prepares the mind-body system for deeper creative connection.

3. Hands-On Artistic Creation (Approx. 1.5 hours)

You will create your Inner Child Collage Totem using:

  • guided prompts

  • curated imagery

  • color and texture exploration

  • meaningful objects or fabric you bring from home

  • intuitive placement and creative flow

Every step is supported. You do not need to be a visual artist.

4. Reflection + Meaning-Making

You will have space to explore:

  • the symbolism within your collage

  • messages from your younger self

  • patterns, memories, and emotional insight

  • grounding practices for aftercare

5. Closing Ritual

The session ends with grounding, integration, and next-step recommendations.

What You Will Leave With

  • A completed, frame-worthy, ready-to-hang Inner Child Collage Totem

  • A deeper emotional connection to your younger self

  • Personalized grounding or tapping suggestions

  • Greater clarity on emotional patterns and healing themes
