She holds the gold standard Associate Certified Coach (ACC) Credential from the International Coaching Federation, as well as specialized coaching certificates in Leadership Performance & Impact Coaching, Strengths Coaching and Wellbeing Coaching. She supports leaders in leveling up their performance and rising from challenges such as:

Dr. Barry-Murphy offers coaching packages, for individual leaders and managerial teams of first-line supervisors up to Senior Executives, designed to spark and ignite leaders in gaining self-awareness, clarity and movement toward individual and organizational success. Each package includes:
- Personalized Coaching Sessions: Tailored, one-on-one coaching sessions where we work to identify leader values, strengths, areas for improvement, and goals.
- Tailored Development Plan: A personalized development plan (Rising flight path!) tailored to the leader and the organization's unique needs and aspirations.
- Actionable Feedback: Constructive feedback and actionable insights to help maximize potential and achieve objectives; these include industry best practices in management and leadership as well as positive psychology tools.
- Continuous Support: Ongoing support and guidance throughout the coaching journey, via regular messaging and a learning portal specifically tailored toward the leader and organization's needs, ensuring that the leader(s) have the resources they need to succeed.
Dr. Barry-Murphy coaches individual leaders while also serving as Chief of a Federal Branch in Leadership and Professional Development. Her team provides support to a Directorate of more than 2,600 leaders, managers, supervisors and employees working in the field of asylum and refugee protection all over the United States and the world. Prior to this role, Dr. Barry-Murphy's served at multiple levels of supervision, management and leadership in federal humanitarian protection.
Phoenix Rising Leadership, L.L.C. is separate from Dr. Barry-Murphy’s work for the federal government and allows Dr. Barry-Murphy further opportunity to tap into her passion for helping leaders use their unique strengths for individual and team success. At this time, Phoenix Rising Leadership, L.L.C. is taking a limited number of new clients. However, the opportunity is not open to individuals working for United States Citizenship and Immigration Services or individuals who are seeking refugee, asylum or immigration benefits.

Education
Dr. Barry-Murphy also holds a PhD in Governance & Capacity Building from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute for Policy and Governance along with a Masters of Public & International Affairs, with a focus in Nonprofit Management and Leadership. She focused her doctoral research on empowering individuals to leverage leadership capacities to increase effectiveness in mission-driven, humanitarian organizations.
